Armory Show 2010

Recently I got to attend the Armory Show, my first time! It was very similar to Art Basel in Miami but I liked this show better...

Here are some of the highlights that got my attention!

Miami

I was back in Miami recently when I got to see one of my favorite things I used to love when I lived in South Beach a few years ago: sunsets! I used to live really close to the bay where we would go on the dock of Southgate Apt's to watch the sunsets, amazing!! The shots on the beach are on another day when the sun is at the lowest, which is why my shadow look 20ft tall!!!

DC

A couple weeks ago a group of friends and I went to go visit our dear friend Duke who recently moved to DC. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate as much as we had wanted, but we still had a blast. However seeing the monuments on a rainy afternoon was definitely a different experience. For those who don't know I went to undergrad in DC at GWU. Our campus was in Foggy Bottom which was right next to most of the monuments and the white house so the trip was a walk down memory lane.

Also for those who don't know, DC has some of the best Ethiopian food i've ever had, when I go back to DC I always make sure I swing by http://www.eteterestaurant.com/

wow, i've been really bad about keeping up with this blog, but now that I have some spare time, i'm going to be going through all my pics and happenings in the past few months, things might be slightly out of order but yall will get the point!!! more to come!!
