New Orleans!!

Amazing food, architecture, history, the craziness of Bourbon Street. Ahhh, New Orleans, what more can I say. I had been to New Orleans before when I was young with my family but that was a LONG time ago. This recent trip was seeing the city in a whole new light (besides Post-Katrina), but also with a group of friends...

As you can see below, I was very inspired by all the amazing colorful architecture of the city AND all the amazing food. Seafood was the main attraction at every meal...

Johhny's Po-Boy! Our first meal in NOLA! get the shrimp poboy or the soft shell crab...

You can't leave New Orleans w/o trying Cafe Du Monde and their Beignets!! It's like funnel cake, but a lot messier and smaller....

Maine

I recently went on a week long camping excursion in Porter, Maine and had an amazing trip!! We certainly were not roughing it as we stayed in cozy cabins with bunk beds, however the whole week was filled with tons of laughter, new experiences and makings lots of new friends. Here are some pics from the highlight of my trip, kayaking on the main lake.....
