On a recent relatively warm day, my friend ryan and I went on an excursion to Brighton Beach (take the B or Q all way to the end, about 50 minutes from manhattan) in search of good Ukrainian food and a stroll on the board walk. We ended up at Cafe Glechik for lunch which was mind blowingly good!!

the meat pelmini's (dumplings)
veal stuffed cabbage (my favorite!)
after we went on a stroll on the boardwalk and went to the NY Aquarium!!! (http://www.nyaquarium.com/) which was ok, it was definitely a little run down but the jellyfish exhibit alone is worth the trip...
