Last week my good friend Steven invited me to the opening of the new Ernesto Neto large scale art installation at the Park Avenue Armory. I didn't even know there was an massive block long armory right on Park and 66th but there is!!!
The installation itself was overwhelming, not only was it a feast for the eyes, but also for the nose. Those big "ball like" sacks you see hanging down from the ceiling are filled with all sort of spices, everything from turmeric to lavender....
It truly was a playground for adults as there were ball pits, huge bean bag moon bounce rooms and tons of cavernous tunnels to explore through the skeletal like structure, go check it out!!
The exhibit will run from MAY 14th to JUNE 14th:
