Sleep No More in NYC

Last night my sister and I went to the late night 11pm performance of the much hyped, interactive performance of "Sleep No More," a production of the Emursive and Punchdrunk theater companies located at the abandoned McKittrick hotel in Chelsea on 530 West 27th St.

Honestly words cannot describe the experience nor would I want to give away what one would see during this amazing, interactive show filled with mind blowing set designs and hauntingly beautiful performances. Imagine a "haunted house (remember the haunted mansion from disneyworld?)" with a dash of "choose your own adventure," mixed in with some "eyes wide shut," and then throw in a heavy hand of moody, interactive in your face performance art. Mix it all that together and you get a fresh, never before seen take on a 3 hour Macbeth-ian traged that will guarantee to blow your mind, go see it if you can still get tickets!! Here is the link to the website for more info:

Unfortunately they do not allow any type of photography while your inside so I couldn't take any pictures, but I did find a few online, along with a zillion other reviews. *spoiler alerts* Click on the links below to read more but I suggest if you plan on going to go into seeing the show not knowing what to expect, I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised!!

Also if your looking to grab a bite in the area before the show or if you happen to just be in Chelsea, I highly recommend this darling French Bistro with AMAZING food:
